Kiron is a first generation entrepreneur, a Science Graduate from the University of Lucknow, a qualified Rubber Technologist from the National College of Rubber Technology, London and a Graduate of the London Metropolitan University and The Plastics and Rubber Institute of the U.K. He has rich and diversified experience of over 40 years in Manufacturing, Business Management, IT Systems and Exports.

He is the Chairman and Managing Director of an Indo German Joint Venture based in Lucknow, Chopra Retec Rubber Products Ltd., which is an ISO 9001 and IATF Certified, Govt. of India Recognized Export House, 100% Export Oriented manufacturer, of niche automotive parts which are exported to every continent in the world including the world’s largest Automotive market by sales, China. The company has today one of the largest range of such parts in the world and has in its client list, marquee brands like Aston Martin, UK, to whom they supply exhaust hangers, exclusively.

Travelling globally in connection with business and exports, Mr Kiron Chopra has brought the companies that he heads, on a global platform, as market leaders. Having handed the reins of the manufacturing business to his son, he is now focused on growing a Technology based Startup in the drug distribution, healthcare and wellness space which will transform the supply chain and give easy access to citizens to access good quality drugs, healthcare and wellness services. He is the promoter and co-founder of this startup.

He is also a Founder member and Director at UP Angels Network (in collaboration with the state government of UP), a platform created for startups to connect with investors, in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

He is a voracious reader, a Blogger, a Vlogger, and also writes for various causes, MSME’s in particular, as well as for fun, is a part of an amateur theatre group, has been part of a recent web series and enjoys the outdoors and almost every kind of sport.

Manish, is born and brought-up in Lucknow from where he did his schooling (High School "ICSE", Intermediate "ISC") from St. Francis (a prestigious school of Lucknow), moved to the City of lakes, Bhopal (in 1986 for a brief period of 5 years) for his graduation in Architecture from Maulana Azad College of Technology. The excellent and well facilitated engineering college campus provided ample opportunities and access to all kinds of technologies available at that time. One of them being Computers. Manish had always been fascinated with this field, and put this access to best use balancing, Architecture and Programming. Mastered coding the difficult way (machine code level programming) on ZX Spectrum (Sinclair) computers based on the ZX80-81 microprocessor which could transfer machine code to the volatile memory of the computer thru a Philips tape-recorder. Difficult times honed the skills for detailed planning so as to maximize the output of program in the limited number of instructions as RAM was always in shortage.

After graduation, shifted back to Lucknow in 1990 where in pursuit of AutoCad©, joined BITS (ICCP USA) for a PG Course in Computer Applications. Joined the institute as Faculty for a short period. Lucknow and adjoining areas were booming with Mutual Benefit (Finance) Companies and Quick Solutions, an IT Services company which he had co-founded, provided the much needed software and database solution that could run in a networked environment. Well versed in Novell Architecture (networking technology) they created a state-of-the-art solution, which was an instant hit.

As part of his association with Chopra Retec Rubber Products Limited, he has been involved with extensive application development including the cloud based ERP and MIS systems, now for over 2 decades.

At the turn of the century in 2000, they were pioneers in bringing Radio Technology Network in usage in the local area network with compatible software that could effectively use this resource to connect various locations within the city wirelessly.

He has designed and implemented the Data Centers and Cloud for several clients and deployed Application, Database and Security Servers even before the Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS (Amazon Web Services) were launched. His clients were enjoying this technology which came much later in the market.

Constantly upgrading his knowledge on contemporary technologies, he is well versed with web based technologies too. With the Internet boom, he brought about a smooth transition of existing platform to run over the internet eliminating the geographical limits of connectivity needed for a business to run.

Latest to their achievement is using cloud based solutions for POS integrating with delivery startups like Zomato©, Swiggy© etc. so that the customer can get the best service from what is available in the market, reducing dependency on only home based software.

Currently, as a co-founder and Director, he is focused on creating a niche software for a Technology based Startup, Dawamandi, in the drug distribution, healthcare and wellness space, which is transforming the supply chain and providing easy access to citizens to access good quality drugs, healthcare and wellness products and services. The software integrates all available technologies namely Browser-based , Web-Apps , Mobile based Applications, information exchange through SMS, Email, WhatsApp, algorithms to maximize usage of warehouse space, automated report deliveries via Google Studio and at the same time Multi-tiered access to information (In-house, Retailers, Distributors etc.).

Loves to read in his spare time. Subjects of interest (other than computers) Quantum Physics as well as Meta-Physics (Philosophical) Kant, Robert Pirsig etc.. Enjoys Sci-Fi Movies. Avid Stargazer with his own Celestron-Reflector-Telescope.
